DETAILED EVALUATION MATRIX

Expanded Point Allocation Rules (Algorithm Version 1.0)

Every score component is evaluated deterministically by LabTatva's versioned scoring engine without subjective manual intervention. Below is the comprehensive sub-point breakdown across all 4 pillars.

PILLAR 1

Profile Completeness & Information Depth

30 / 100 Pts

Evaluates whether the facility has published comprehensive operational details to enable rapid vendor evaluation by industrial buyers.

Sub-Criteria Requirement Verification & Scoring Rule Points Awarded
Executive Summary & Specialization Detailed narrative summary (>100 words describing specialized testing apparatus, industry sectors served, and accreditation focus). (Partial: +3 pts for <100 words) +6 Points
Corporate Domain Verification Verified corporate domain matching official entity records. Ensures authentic corporate identity and secure buyer RFQ routing directly to laboratory management. +6 Points
Geographic Service Radius & Regions Explicitly declared state, district, and city service coverage radii for sample collection & on-site testing teams. +6 Points
Operating Hours & Key Personnel Contacts Declared weekday/weekend intake hours, emergency sample submission protocols, and named Quality Manager contacts. +6 Points
Facility Photos & Testing Equipment Gallery 3+ high-resolution uploaded photographs showing testing apparatus, calibration benches, or facility infrastructure. (Partial: +3 pts for 1-2 photos) +6 Points
PILLAR 2

Verified Ownership & Management Authenticity

25 / 100 Pts

Ensures that the directory listing is actively managed by verified, authorized laboratory directors or quality managers.

Sub-Criteria Requirement Verification & Scoring Rule Points Awarded
NABL Official Email Domain Matching Registration email matches masked official NABL certificate registry hint (e.g. d...r@m...b.in). (Corporate domain match: +8 pts) +15 Points
Signed Reviewer Verification Checkpoint Formally claimed account featuring an audited, reviewer-approved provenance record in the immutable audit ledger. +10 Points
PILLAR 3

Buyer Service Feedback & Evidence Integrity

25 / 100 Pts

Measures real-world industrial buyer satisfaction and verified commercial transaction evidence to prevent review manipulation.

Sub-Criteria Requirement Verification & Scoring Rule Points Awarded
Moderated Client Star Rating Calculated as Points = (Average Rating / 5.0) × 10. Minimum 3 buyer reviews required to trigger scoring; 0 pts if <3 reviews. +10 Points
Verified Purchase Order (PO) / Service Invoice Proof 3+ uploaded commercial testing POs or redacted tax invoices verified by platform moderators. (Partial: +10 pts for 1-2 POs) +15 Points
PILLAR 4

Directory Maintenance & Freshness Time-Decay

20 / 100 Pts

Rewards active laboratory engagement and applies a mathematical time-decay function to stagnant or unmaintained directory listings.

Sub-Criteria Requirement Verification & Scoring Rule Points Awarded
Monthly Management Portal Login Active dashboard session recorded within last 30 days (+10 pts). (31–60 days: +5 pts; >60 days: 0 pts) +10 Points

PLATFORM VISIBILITY & PLACEMENT

Where the LabTatva Score Is Displayed & Used

The LabTatva Score is computed continuously and displayed across 5 key surfaces on the platform to assist both industrial buyers and laboratory directors.

Discovery

1. Directory Search Cards

Public Page: /search & Homepage

Every laboratory card in public directory search results displays a prominent numeric quality badge (e.g. Score: 88/100). Industrial buyers use this score to sort and filter facilities by profile completeness and verified ownership.

Impact: High-scoring laboratories receive up to 3.2x higher click-through rates from industrial procurement teams.
Profile

2. Public Laboratory Profiles

Public Page: /c-{slug}

Displayed in a dedicated sidebar widget entitled "Platform Quality Score". Visitors can click the widget to expand a 4-pillar breakdown showing points earned in Completeness, Ownership, Reviews, and Maintenance.

Impact: Provides full transparency to corporate buyers inspecting a facility's digital profile prior to submitting an RFQ.
Response

3. Buyer RFQ Quote Workspaces

Buyer Portal: /rfq/workspace

When industrial buyers compare commercial testing quotations submitted by multiple laboratories, the LabTatva Score is displayed side-by-side next to each lab's quoted price and lead time.

Impact: Helps buyers differentiate responsive, highly maintained labs from stagnant profile submissions.
Actions

4. Lab Management Dashboard

Portal: /account

Laboratory directors see their live score inside their management dashboard, accompanied by actionable recommendations (e.g. "+6 pts: Upload representative facility photographs").

Impact: Serves as a gamified optimization checklist for lab owners to maximize commercial buyer visibility.
Report

5. Generated PDF Profile Dossiers

Downloadable Buyer PDF Reports

Included in official downloadable laboratory summary dossiers generated for corporate procurement committees, supply chain audits, and vendor registration files.

Impact: Standardizes vendor evaluation for corporate supply chain teams downloading offline documentation.

Strict Regulatory & Accreditation Boundary (What It Is NOT)

1. Not an Accreditation Decision: The LabTatva Score is an internal platform directory interpretation — it is never an accreditation decision, technical competence endorsement, or official certificate guarantee.

2. Structurally Separate Facts: Official NABL accreditation status, scope discipline categories, certificate numbers, and validity dates remain structurally distinct official-source facts. Laboratory users cannot alter official accreditation data through profile updates.

3. No Ranking Over Facts: A high profile score does NOT allow an unaccredited or out-of-scope facility to match a buyer's exact technical RFQ requirements. Exact scope matching is governed strictly by deterministic scope resolution.
