Review a laboratory test report systematically.
Record whether the delivered report contains the identifiers, methods, results, units, uncertainty and statements your decision requires. This checklist records a review; it does not validate results or determine conformity.
Local-only review: use an internal report alias and do not paste report contents or personal information. No review data is transmitted.
Important limits of a checklist review
- A complete-looking report can still contain an unsuitable method, range, uncertainty or sample basis.
- An accreditation symbol or laboratory listing does not prove that every reported result is within current accredited scope.
- Statements of conformity depend on the specification and decision rule; do not infer one from a numerical result alone.
- Technical anomalies should be reviewed by a competent subject-matter expert and discussed with the issuing laboratory.
